No Logging is about data minimisation: do not retain visitor data merely because software makes it easy.

Does “No Logging” mean literally no technical processing?

No. A web request necessarily has to be processed to deliver a page. The project focuses on avoidable retention: persistent access logs, unnecessary identifiers, tracking and third-party requests that are not needed for the requested service.

Is the badge a general privacy certification?

No. It documents a defined review scope and the status recorded in the public verification register. It is not a guarantee of complete server security or legal compliance.

Are server logs always bad?

No. Logs can be useful for security and troubleshooting. The question is whether identifiable visitor data is necessary, how much is stored, and for how long.

Does the project share data with the German edition?

Yes. no-logging.org and wir-speichern-nicht.online are two language editions of the same project and use the same verification database.

Does this website use a CDN or analytics tracker?

The project is deliberately designed to work without third-party analytics and without a proxy CDN in front of the site. The infrastructure itself is part of the practical demonstration.
